About the Artist

Product Photography :

With Fireflower Photography shooting your inventory, your web images will look polished and professional, and as creative as you desire.

My rates are as follows:

The minimum charge is $100, which includes 1 hour of shooting and 1 hour of editing/retouching. Additional time is only $35 per hour (shooting and editing are billed separately). I always do an in-person consultation prior to any shoots to determine an exact quote for you based upon your needs. [Additional sales tax of 8.25% is required for clients in the state of Texas.]

Framing Tips : To add extra visual impact to your photographs, I highly recommend framing and matting your prints. As a former picture-framing designer, I have several suggestions for what to do after you receive your photographs.

Custom framing is the best way to ensure that your frame size is proportionate to the image size. You will also get a wider selection of frame and mat choices, as well as a designer to advise you on color and style options. There are an endless number of ways to present your photographs, and a designer will help you narrow those choices.

For those who like to do it yourself, here are some practical tips:

Portraits :
At Fireflower Photography, I believe having your portrait done should be an enjoyable experience, and one that reflects your personal tastes.

That’s why I encourage you to choose a location that is special to you. Whether the location is scenic, urban, or just at your house or office, your portraits will be a unique reflection of you that will be treasured for years to come.

I will do a free consultation with you prior to your scheduled shoot so that we can go over wardrobe and location selections, and get to know each other a bit before I get behind the camera.

If you have a sudden breakout on the day of the shoot, or didn't get quite enough sleep that week, not to worry. I’m an expert digital retoucher. I can remove or reduce wrinkles, bags under the eyes, complexion issues, and more to make you look your best in your portraits.
